English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship School
Anchorage is a multi-ethnic city with more than 100 languages spoken by students in our school district. In 1991, the members of Sunset Hills saw this need and began the ministry of teaching English as a second language, as well as citizenship classes for adult internationals living in our community.
Christian volunteers run the program and new workers are always welcome. Training is provided for those who have never taught English as a Second Language before.
